Aperture Blog Review

Blog: Aperture
I enjoyed this blog very much. I felt like it was a very busy looking layout, but it made me want to look more and discover what all this blog had to offer. This blog post just about everyday and their main posts consist of art news or interviews with artists. This is a photography blog.
The article is about a custom installation by Jakob Trollbäck on one of the world's largest high-resolution video walls in InterActiveCorps headquarter in New York City, for Apeture's 1/1 benefit and auction. In the article, Jason Quincy Bailey had an interview with Jakob Trollbäck about his work as a whole. Trollbäck talked a lot about how music inspired his work, especially since he was a musician himself. He said in the interview, "I think that what I’m doing in motion is sort of a visual variation of doing music. It’s the same story, but you’re telling it with visuals instead of notes." This is what really intrigued me about the article and made me want to read. Being a very musical person myself, I could really relate to all that he had to say during the interview.
