Light Leaked is a photography blog, and visually it is not very exciting to me. That was one of the first things that I noticed. There is nothing that jumps out at they, drawing the reader toward it. It is very simply organized, with the entire articles on the home page. There is easy navigation between months on the right. This blog sight posts about once a week.
The blog post I am reviewing is over the artist Sarah Malakoff and her work entitled Second Nature. It is about how our lifestyles, personalities, and identities through our decor that we choose to display throughout our homes. She describes our homes as either a refuge from the outdoors, or just a recreation of them. She also invites the viewer to imagine what kind of people might live in these places. I really enjoyed this one because I've always payed to things that people own. By looking at the items that one owns tells a lot about that person.
